Société Générale: the Vocalia banking service
About Société Générale
Société Générale is one of France's leading and oldest banks. It is one of the three pillars of the French non-mutual banking industry, along with Crédit Lyonnais and BNP Paribas.
Societe Generale is now one of the international banks with the strongest presence in Africa, but this is the fruit of a long history with the continent.
In addition to its geographical expansion on the continent, the Société Générale Group has also launched alternative banking models.
digiCONTACTS has developed an IVR for Société Générale in Chad and Madagascar
How does the Vocalia banking service work?
Vocalia is an Interactive Voice Server (IVS) that gives customers access to their account information.
By dialing a single number from a landline, the bank's customers will have access not only to account information, but also to assistance and after-sales services for Société Générale products and services.
Callers hear a welcome message inviting them to select their language first, then their requirements.
The service can also be accessed from a cell phone by dialing an abbreviated number.
Customers can receive a mini statement of their account by SMS.
